Our History
Pathway to Everyday Life Human Services, Inc. is a privately held for-profit corporation in Pennsylvania. It was founded in 2022 and is owned and operated by two Black Women Entrepreneurs. Inspired by the path we helped to pave for our children, hence the name for the organization’s initiative and mission that goes beyond bringing up our children. Subsequently realized was Pathway to Everyday Life Human Services (“Pathway to Everyday Life”): A community-based advantage that assists in the introduction and sustainability of a stable lifestyle for children with or without disabilities in Northeast Pennsylvania to help adolescents (13 -21) move to adulthood.
This initiative is premised on an imperative: the creation of a loving, caring, tranquil place of residence, as noted in our Mission Statement: To proactively provide the highest quality, home-friendly haven for youth in a structured environment that will allow them to build healthy relationships, work on themselves, and live productive lives.
This woman-owned company survived the challenges of motherhood. Both our children are now adults, surrounding themselves with positive endeavors and trying to meet society's requisites. Finding ourselves with the bandwidth to tackle new projects, the entrepreneurial spirit has propelled us to focus on putting greater effort into community enhancement projects.
“Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal” (Earl Nightingale). We found a worthy goal in the progressive Human Service Industry, and with our expansion to Florida, Pathway’s realization of success is certain.
